I think I was the first one to come up with the concept of biological existentialism, but I don’t know. I thought of it about it in 1999, I think. It wasn’t a great deal to me, but I remember I kind of made it into a problem. And I didn’t find anyone who had made it into a problem back then.
The thing about biological existentialism is: – What do you think about your existence when you know the motivational drivers? Will that knowledge cause existential angst?
ff you are robot and you’re shown the code that makes you who you are, that’s gonna make you feel strange. And the value drive theory explains how the mind and motivation works, so it’s the same thing.
So biological existentialism is a philosophical issue. We’re trapped in this matrix where we know that rules that drives us. And if you have a problem with it, that’s because the value drive make you have a problem with it. So it’s a brain twister.
